  3. Latin American verasion
  4. "The peoples & players of the world only get to see the world cup every 4 years" yeah, that's spirit here's the kind of Worldly Cups you could see every day
  5. "Vuvuzelas have been controversial. They have been associated with permanent noise-induced hearing loss, cited as a possible safety risk when spectators cannot hear evacuation announcements,[5] and potentially spread colds and flu viruses on a greater scale than coughing or shouting. Vuvuzelas have also been blamed for drowning the sound and atmosphere of football games."
  6. guess not, someone was yankin' our chain about that : here's the detail about those Vuvuzela
  7. I read someplace else that they have to use them to keep the bee swarms away or something like that
  8. I did video calls when I was in Bahng Saan, Chonburi. Northing wrong with it really, worked fine not to mention, how do you take pictures of yourself w/o a secondary camera ?, LOL I used the video call function a couple of times just to show someone where I was, worked pretty good the real reason for 3G though to me was for internet use
  9. because the photo said iPhone 4G & I couldn't tell the difference looking at it until you mentioned it, then I zoomed to see "concept" & probably because I'm really focused on the HTC, but I am reading HTC Desire does not have a secondary camera which would make video calls damn near impossible unless you were using a hands-free (small talk) ok, I'll see if I can dig it up in a little while, thanks
  10. PC Tools A/V is doing me fine now it kills those pesky autorun worm viruses that AVG wasn't
  11. why would you want or need a custom ROM if your phone is already unlocked ?
  12. well here's the one from the Apple site which is being called i-Phone 4 everywhere else is the World is calling it i-Phone 4G I think the first photo just has some rubber cover on it or something
  13. look closer, if you zoom on the photo is says i-Phone 4G concept right on the back of it
  14. well, I don't like the idea of jailbreaking with an HTC it would be unlocked & ready for use with any provider at least in LOS it would the i-Phone is locked to True if you buy the legit one that's not jailbroken I don't fancy paying over 20k for something if it's jailbroken with no warranty & I also don't want to switch to True
  15. just ran across this when digging for the news about AT&T screwing the i-Phone 4G customers : http://www.gadgetsdna.com/10-reasons-not-t...hone-4g-hd/2757
  16. apparently in the rest of the World outside North America it is 4G, but AT&T don't want to be pressured into developing a 4G network so it's called i-Phone 4 in North America where AT&T wants to keep it's 4G capability quiet http://hubpages.com/hub/The-NEW-iPhone-4G-Coming-2010 meanwhile HTC's EVO is offering 4G on Sprint & Sprint is already developing a 4G network so basically, it sucks to be you if you're paying for a 4G phone in North America & can't use the capability because of AT&T
  17. can't some people get it at home & not bother going to hunt for a pub that can afford to pay this extortionate fee ?
  18. this is exactly the sort of info I was looking for when I opened this poll, thanks !
  19. I don't buy phones outside of LOS anymore for a couple of reasons, warrantee & the Thai keypad last time I bought a phone out of country was in Singapore & I regretted it later when I traded up for what I have now. HTC Desire is around 22k http://www.siamphone.com/catalog/htc/desire.htm In Rayong there's a couple dealers in Laam Tong & only one in Star Plaza I'd buy in Star Plaza cause I know the guy who owns the shop, been doing business with him for over a decade
  20. crap on a stick, but he was in it Daddy & Them
