So many to choose from! Montgomery Clift

Guys, I created a topic in the GOGO REVIEW section where you can give your impressions of Private Dancer or other gogos and bars. This section is really for announcements by the bar owners/managers about upcoming events and news.

You really like to repeat yourself. Nobody can predict the weather for sure. Bring an umbrella. -

It's been clear and dry for tonight...I think Gaemi had some magic pizza in Cambo and has slowed down. -
Did you mean to say I understand you? Their drinks are the same price when you buy them, so it hardly matters...unless one is concerned about their motives for being so friendly .

Due to the fact that a flat 20% discount might leave your bill being some odd number, they just round it..for example a Heineken is 170b, but with the card it is 140b..a little less than 20% (which would be 136b).

What are you missing in the responses to your question? You've gotten a link to their page that describes the card choices and costs. If you want to know if it's worth it for you, it depends on how often you use it and what your spending would be. With the simple 100b card, you can make your money back after 4 beers (save 30b each beer).

Only if they've gotten their own Insomnia "ladies card" for 300 baht

This was dealt with and responded to in the thread. Certainly not any of those places you mentioned.

Yeah, I see your point. HE'S NOT DEAD, YA HEAR! Gene Hackman

I'm not quite getting why Localyokul, and now you, are unambiguously saying that MGW said he was dead He used the past tense in referring to him, but that does not always indicate the writer is saying the subject has died.

Here are some pictures given to me by a BM who was in the Soi Diana, Soi LK Metro area Friday night during the big storm. As usual, Soi Diana is a lake. -

It really is. I was in FLB Friday night talking with BM, losgrad. I was ribbing him about always carrying an umbrella, since the weather when I entered FLB 20 minutes before was clear and dry. He was telling me that he liked to be "always prepared". This was as he was leaving. Just as he hit the front door, I heard a rumbling sound from the ceiling and realized it was the sound of heavy rain. I went towards the front, and losgrad was coming back with a big grin on his face. It can happen without much warning, indeed. -

I had no way to get home other than walk...motorbikes couldn't get thru the flooded area at 2nd Road and Thappraya Road, and baht busses were all taken. I slogged home in thigh deep dirty water against a strong current (the water was flowing to the sea). It took 2 hours to go a distance that I normally can cover in 15 minutes. I do hope it doesn't get that bad this time, but there's no way to know for sure. I think if it starts flooding, I'll try to get home before the water rises too high. -
