  1. Uh, Timo, of course it's a fake. That's why it's in the FUNNIES SECTION. It's from the Onion...a political satire site. However, if the Iranians thought it was real, I doubt we have to worry about their nuclear ambitions.
  2. CHARLESTON, WV—According to the results of a Gallup poll released Monday, the overwhelming majority of rural white Americans said they would rather vote for Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad than U.S. president Barack Obama. “I like him better,” said West Virginia resident Dale Swiderski, who, along with 77 percent of rural Caucasian voters, confirmed he would much rather go to a baseball game or have a beer with Ahmadinejad, a man who has repeatedly denied the Holocaust and has had numerous political prisoners executed, than spend time with Obama. “He takes national defense seriously, and he’d never let some gay protesters tell him how to run his country like Obama does.” According to the same Gallup poll, 60 percent of rural whites said they at least respected that Ahmadinejad doesn't try to hide the fact that he’s Muslim. http://www.theonion....tion_ref_map=[]

  4. Read the topic on the main page...something like HOW TO JOIN THE FORUM
  5. Those are all legitimate reasons, but there are less than legitimate ones. For example, there is a gay stalker who keeps sending me emails and seems to be obsessed with me, in spite of the fact that I route his email to spam and ignore him. He likes to engage me in dialog on the forum or email, claims he is a great poster and adds content that he seems to think everyone is lusting for...in other words, he has an unnaturally high sense of his value. Oddly enough, every board that has tolerated him initially, has given him the toss after he becomes insufferably obnoxious, boring, and a little bit gay sounding. His latest attempts to infiltrate this board have had him using TOR to mask his previously well-known IP. So, perhaps you can understand why members who (1) don't bother to join the forum (2) claim their content is worth something (custom == content) (3) use TOR and (4) engage me in dialog off the topic at hand, might be considered worthy of watching.
  6. Idefix is correct in that this board used to have such a restriction unless the poster was known in person to the admin. That restriction has been lifted over the years, but some users are looked at more carefully than others, especially when they use masking to hide their origins.
  7. Where is that?
  8. I read the rate card you included for various provinces, but Chonburi was not listed. Any idea why? Might it be that they can negotiate rates (or use the meter)?
  9. With a possibly misspelled name and no location given, I'm not sure what to do with this "review".
  10. I know that place, and it is good. Strange location, but they seem to get customers regularly.

  13. That might be the reason.
  14. No, members have to alternate. I'm looking it up now since the 24 hours has elapsed. The Pawnbroker
  15. Had some problems with the forum sending emails...it should be resolved now. Using TOR for browsing is suspicious, however.
  16. Well, for example, FLB has coffee, cappuccino, lattes, and espresso for less than Starbucks. Also, Bon Cafe and Black Canyon are good. Aside from the majors, there are many small coffee shops where you can get a decent espresso or whatever all around town.
  17. I agree with you completely. I remember when Starbucks used to use ceramic mugs for their in store customers. They changed to paper cups many years ago. Estimates are that Starbucks alone uses between 2 and 4 billion (different estimates) paper cups a year. I never patronize them here in Thailand. There are much better, and cheaper, alternatives.
  18. To Kill a Mockingbird
  19. Oops. That was my mistake reading the post without my glasses. I'll fix it.
  20. Here is the website...it looks very nice http://www.bkktownlodge.com/index.html, and that 20% discount is a good incentive to try it out. Is there convenient car parking available or a parking area?
  21. FLB sells Carlsberg. I think Roxy agogo does too.
  22. You weren't a member before, since you didn't ask to be one. Now you are a member. Only members can upload pictures for security reasons. Let's see those pics.

  24. When you go out on your scooter then, you don't pick up women? From mobile device.
  25. I was in a gogo tonight with only a slow GPRS/Edge connection, and I managed to reply to a post with a quoted section. It took a while to appear, but it did work. So that should rule out the network connection issue, since my connection was closer to dial-up than broadband. Stumped! P.S. the gogo was devoid of cute girls. From mobile device.
