Jomtien is much more quiet, the beach is more quiet and there are some great restaurants in the area. Very easy to catch a baht bus. Not a good place to stay for short time unless you want to frequent the bars in the area. I have not spent much time in the Jomtien bars because it is so easy just to catch a baht bus and go into Pattaya.

My friends back here in the USA always ask me about the restaurants in Pattaya and I always tell them one of my favorite restaurants is Tequila Reef Mexican Restaurant and they just laugh at me going all the way to Thailand and eating at the Tequila Reef. Hey it is great to sit out on the front with a drink and watch the world go buy.

Dave, Congrats on your six years, when in Pattaya I always stop in and listen to some Blues. Hope you have continues success for years to come.

Sign language is different in different countries. A lot of the meaning is lost from country to country and also from culture to culture. So many many things can be lost.
