Hi Everyone, I was staying in Rosie O Gradys when Bill Passed away due to a massive heart attack on Soi 13. I was there to pay my condolences to his son and pass them on from my parents who used to frequent the bar regular when in Pattaya. I stay there everytime I go to Pattaya, I must admit he will be sadly missed as he was one of the few bar owners who you could very much rely on for good advice when in Pattaya. Hopefully his son Darren will continue the excellent service received when I stayed there. I recommend the place very much. Great bunch of regular expats and an excellant bunch of staff.

Now I understand why, she was a delightful good natured girl who always smiled even at the worst of times. My deapest sympathy goes out to her family. HI Kenny, I will be arriving at the same time on BA from Sydney, I have yet to decide whether or not to stay the night in Bangers as it is only 150baht cab ride and stay at the Dynasty oposite Nana Plaza and also convenient to Soi Cowboy. If you arrive at that time, by the time we get to Pattaya it could be a waste of good drinking and entertainment. What to do you think as I am wondering what to do at the moment. Brgds Mark

Thanks for your reply mate, my phone is a siemens S55 and its frequency is 900 1800/1900 mhz frequency and the sim is unblocked. Hopefully that will work. So you mentioned that they can be bought at a 7 eleven, what one could you or anyone viewing this recommend in terms of price and reliability. Thanks

Hi Everyone, I will be comming for a ten day holiday in about five weeks and I was wondering if I bring my mobile with me. Can Thai sim cards be bought cheaply and easily. If so which ones do you reccommend and on arrival at the airport where can they be bought.

One other great plan is that if you arrive very late at night, unfortunatly with the closing times, the two hour drive to Pattaya to me is valuable drinking and entertainment time. I can recommend a hotel called the Dynasty Inn which is right next to Nana Plaza and in the heart of Bangkoks entertainment district, there rates are 1000 baht per night http://www.dynastyinn.com/beta_DynastyInnBangkok.htm and they also do cheap transfers to Pattaya also, I will head to Pattaya the next day.
