I have a mate who was born and bred in Walthamstow London. His parents are Indian. I have met up with him in Pattaya twice and had a few nights on the town together, he comes to Pattaya twice a year. He never complains or has mentioned to me anything about prejudice and I certainly never saw any indicated towards him. I have spent time in Russia and as a general rule, they are bloody decent people. There is good and bad everywhere you go. They have never caused me any problems in Pattaya and I recon they are no worse than anyone else.

Try not to go out as much on the weekends at home, stay away from clubs, learn to shop in bargain places. In other words be a big Cheap Charlie but only when you are at home. Come to Pattaya twice a year for two weeks and have a great time.

Comming to Pattaya solo is no problem, I have made alot of good friends there and every time I come again, I find that I am always catching up with People.

I guess you are taking risks anywhere in the world when you go out pissed and stagger back. However I have noticed over the last few weeks there seems to be bit of an increase in crime against farangs in Pattaya in the media. If this is true, I wonder what the motive could be for such an increase.
