Have stayed in Sunshine Vista and Bella Villa Prima before, both good. Preferred the Bella Villa because of free WiFi. At the top of Soi 4 there is the Sabaii Resort, which is also very nice. Richard

Robo, I'm staying at the Metropole on the six month rate for the 1 bedroom suite at a bit under 26,000b plus utilities.(27,000) on their price list. The price list does in fact quote 48,000b + utilities for 1 month, 33,000 for 2 months and 30,000 for 3/6 months. I'll ask them the question about a 1 month stay for a friend and let you know. Probably tomorrow, when there's a manager around. Richard

Bella Villa Prima on Soi 4 has free wireless connection. LK Metropole on Soi LK Metro has wireless for 1000b per month (I got them to throw it for free as part of the monthly rate). Also Starbucks but i'm told its expensive and of course Misty's a Go Go. Most hotels have internet areas in the lobby and just about every street has internet cafe's although I'm not sure if you can use your laptop in these. A couple of weeks ago, I applied to the Hull Consulate for a 12 month multi entry non imm visa. Sent by special delivery on Thursday and received my stamped passport back on Saturday morning. It doesn't get ant easier than that.

Bought a new sim last week in Big C mall, not asked for any details.
