My old man has also retired over in pattaya although he travels all over Thailand(his fave place is pattaya) He has left me and bro his buisness(he just wants a certain amount paid into his bank account each month-what a life for him) Anyway.... i am also looking to move over there in the future, not as lucky as you i think i may have to wait 10 yrs or so(28 yrs old now) but its all good and im well looking forward to the future. Totally agree with you mate about the stuck up bitches that live over here.

Despite what some people think, Etihad are a very good Airline!! Im glad you enjoyed flying with them James Dean(lol) because i also do. I try and fly with them every time.

Would that be the bar near the sunshine hotel soi 8. If it is then i can definatly tell you it is 24 hour as i can remember staying in the sunshine hotel old wing on my last visit and waking at 6am to hear load booming music. Do they have a licence to stay open 24 hours? I nearly went round to complain but decided it may be better not to(Thinking of my saftey!!!)

Am now looking at 1st jan for my brother. Flights seem to be an awful lot cheaper after christmas. We have our eyes on a Sri lanken airline flight for just over £500 leaving on the 1st through til 22nd jan. There seems to be loads of cheap flights in the new year. So for all of you looking to go to thailand over the christmas period maybe it would be wise to wait a few weeks like my brother is and save yourselves £200-£300. I would say that though as i booked my flight for the 28th december back in August and im not one of the many looking for a cheap ticket for december

I think it all depends on how much you drink in a day. Beer, drunkeness=lots of money spent. Ive survived on 1000 baht a day. My average is about 1500-2000 baht a day I have spent 10000(thats ten thousand) and SO regretted it the next day
