I am reading reviews on agoda etc. that the construction noise and dust is a problem 8.00am-6.00pm. How bad is it? Should i be looking to stay elsewhere?

Any news on the noise or construction work? Was looking to book 1 week for the end of January.

Looked a flights but would have a 6 hour wait. Might as well be travelling. depends on the taxi price. I normally fly to Udon with air asia but 7500 bht for 2 because of song kran.

Does Mr. T do longer trips? Looking for a taxi from the Airport to Khon Kaen. Anyone used him?

Can anyone recommend a a good comfortable driver/taxi to go to Khon Kaen from Suvarnabhumi airport on the 12th April 2012 at 1.00pm. Alsany idea on the cost. 2 people with luggage. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I looked at paying to book into an airport lounge. However, i have read it as if you are flying a domestic flight after the international flight you can not book it. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Any recomendations for a short stay of aprroximately 4-5 hours between international & domestic flight. Looking to pay no more than 1000bht including tranfers.

Just been checking flights out from Newcastle with China Air on Net flights. There are some cracking deals coming up £415 from Newcastle and other UK airports (even in August). You have to be flexi with your dates to get the available flights.

Just got back on Saturday. I stayed in the Areca for three weeks with my Thai wife. Excellent staff, good food and quality rooms. you pay a little more than other hotels and they never budge for discount. Deluxe room 1190bht (pool View) or std room 990bht (wall View). Not many go go bars close by but a motorbike taxi will have you in the middle of the action within 5 mins. I would recomend the Areca
