I'm also travelling BKK-PTTYA on the 7th, but will be using the free transfer between Dynasty Inns. Bus leaves around 11am I think, and no way am I getting up at 6 to get a cab... I also have booked here in June for first time. I am only staying for the min 2 nights as to pay for the free minivan trip from BKK, but I may stay longer if I really like it. From what I already know, It is fairly new (1 year old), has a small but nice pool and is in a great location. I've booked a deluxe room for 1200 bt/night and am looking forward to seeing it. Wow ! just over 2 weeks till that 'buckle your seatbelt' sign lights up Man, I'd better, like, pack or something... 4 pairs underwear, 2 clean shirts, 1 spare pants and about 24 packs of Trojans

Just over 3 weeks till wheels up, I am begining to get excited :) I am staying at the Dynasty Inn BKK for 2 nights of Sukumvit mongering before taking the minibus down to the PTTYA DI (2 nights, maybe more if I like it). Hey all again :) I stayed at the Queen Vic on Soi 6 last year and was impressed with my room. Mostly because it had a DVD player in it ! Great way to spend an early afternoon watching your new DVDs, and your TGs love it too :) This year I will be staying at 2 places, the Dynasty Lodge on soi 13 and Flipper House on , of course, soi 7 (got a mini suite there). Queen Vic has no pool, and I do like to take a dip in the hot thai sun :) Does anyone happen to know if these places offer DVDs for their occupants ? If not, is there a place you can rent one from ? Blockbusters perhaps ? Bongojona

Hi all, looking forward to my return trip to Pattaya in June. :) I have booked a week in the new Dynasty Inn Pattaya, and was offered a Deluxe room for 1200 bt/night w/o breakfast. Has anyone stayed in these rooms, and would you say it is worth paying the extra over a superior room (950 bt) ? Bongo

I have a Sony Cybershot with , of course, Sony memory sticks. Is it pretty easy to find places in Pattaya to burn off a CD for me ? (to save me having to buy more sticks) and what do they charge ? Bongo

Anyone want to share a taxi or Limo to Pattaya ? I arrive 5am and am keen to meet with anyone else on same flight or any other that morning. I don't mind waiting a bit either. Bongo
