Depends where you originate from. From DFW I have to get to Lax to connect with EVA. That adds $208 to the Eva fare. Since Northwest services DFW I can fly completely on Northwest and that beats EVA/Connection carrier by $200. Guido

I e-mailed an inquiry about availability in November several days ago. No response yet. Too far ahead? I must admit the room looks great. Wombat any problems at all? Noise, construction etc? I would like to stay there. Paying in advance does make me cautious, however. Thanks Guido

Just retuned from my first trip. I spent 6 nights at Areca. Nice hotel, very good breakfast buffet included in price of room. Guest friendly- no problems. Good location, short walk to baht bus, resturants, shopping etc. I only had 1 issue, when I checked into my room the air conditioner was blowing hot air only. Front desk had someone up within 5 minutes. Took him about 10 minutes to fix. No other problems. Very nice hotel, I would stay again. Guido One note- The area is quiet however, there is a a chicken coop next door and the roosters get going pretty early.

Arriving BKK, Northwest Airlines 11:50 PM on June 12. For some reason most flights from the US arrive very late. Anyone interested in sharing a ride to Pattaya?
