Try The Sportsmans on Soi 13, not the cheapest but a lovely brekkie.

I stayed at the Majestic Suites last trip & really enjoyed my stay. The view from my window was directly over Nana Plaza & across the Nana Hotel 'parking lot' 1300bht p/n, breakfast included, girl friendly, rooms are quite small but more than adequate, very clean. Excellent location, back there in Sept. Book early as very popular. If you like Tom Yam though, eat elsewhere...worst I ever tasted...but everything else ok. Orange

If you're at any of the 24 hour beer bars along Beach Road / Soi6 etc, every few minutes a food cart pulls up. This one was about 4.30am-ish I used to pop in most every other morning about 4-5am to see these two buggers on Beach Road if I had finished my S/T We would watch the Sunrise & the Buddhist monks going past They wanted to learn some Welsh...so we had a larf. I would buy Chicken & pork noodles for the three of us with nam pla & chillies & some thing else that they liked, all for 80bht. Back to the Lek about 6.45am just in time to be the first for a nice hot buffet breakfast, up to my loom...crash till noon. Superb Orange

Seems she is doing ok. I was there 2 weeks ago, I paid bar for 3 girls (different occasions) & asked them about her dicreetly with intentions of meeting her & maybe taking her out for some food, dancing, back to loom if she wanted but was told "She very fussy, not go with most men who ask" by all 3 of them. Dunno if it was usual BG bullshit or if her diary is full, so didn't actually get to see her. Good luck to her, & hope things improve for her. PS. NLD1 was one of my faves this year great atmos, no hassle, beautiful babes. Get the door opener guy a gold chain or at least a velvet rope to pull the door open, as he can't get off his arse

I like the Hot Pot in the TukCom Centre, the one where you make your own soup kinda thing. Cheap too. Don't have the tea tho'...tastes like an OAP's boiled, yellow, horny toenail clippings.
-
Go to 2nd floor- BigC or the TukCom centre, ask them to unlock the fone (if necessary), buy a D-Tac sim with whatever credit you need on it. They will do everything for you for a couple of hundred baht & put the credit on for you. Then ring away wherever:D

.. Wales on Sunday CARDIFF CITY will see their multi-million pound debts wiped out by the consortium which is set to complete a takeover of the club, Wales on Sunday can exclusively reveal. Owner Sam Hammam has agreed to sell his majority shareholding in the Championship leaders and will be officially replaced as chairman within the next 48 hours by his deputy Peter Ridsdale. The surprise news came as a shock to fans yesterday but the details of the deal were discussed and agreed at a board meeting on Friday. Under the terms of the takeover, Hammam will step aside to be replaced by the man he brought to the club as a consultant in February last year. The shock move is part of a massive financial restructuring of the club which will see half of City's £24m debt cleared immediately with the rest being paid off within the next 12 months. Ridsdale's elevation to take control of the club will also see manager Dave Jones receive several million pounds to strengthen his promotion chasing squad in the January transfer window. The decision should also see City finally receive the green light to begin work on the proposed £30m stadium at Leckwith after years of setbacks. City currently sit three points clear at the top of the Championship and with money to spend for the first time Jones will fancy his chances of getting the side promoted to the Premiership. Hammam accepted an honourary position as club president at the board meeting last week having agreed to give up control of the club he purchased six years ago. He originally recruited Ridsdale last year to help solve City's crippling £30m debts. Since then the former Leeds chairman has become the driving force behind plans for the Bluebirds' new stadium and the overhaul of the club's finances to enable the club to function on a day-to-day basis. Both Hammam and Ridsdale sat together in the directors box at Carrow Road yesterday to watch City's 1-0 defeat to Norwich. Hammam left the ground immediately afterwards without making comment while Ridsdale was also unavailable when contacted last night. Team boss Dave Jones admitted he was in the dark over any potential boardroom changes but added that he did not believe it would adversely affect his players. Lebanese millionaire Hammam was one of the most flamboyant figures in football when arrived at the then struggling club in 2000. Since then he has overseen two promotions and gives up control with City having made their best ever start to a league campaign. But the lowest point of his reign came two seasons ago. City were approximately £30m in the red and were forced to sell captain Graham Kavanagh along with star players such as Danny Gabbidon.

Live from Norwich? It's the sale of the century! Word is that Ridsdale has paid £10m & is new chairman. Out of the frying pan......

Sounds great. Bet I'd get the window seat next to the bastard with a pipe the size of a didgeridoo full of Franklins Dark Shag.
