I called them and gave them my info over the phone. One thing, I paid my bill after each night...on checkout they tried to charge me for a night I had already paid for. Once I showed them the receipt they backed off. Keep your receipts...just common sense.

Try the Drop Inn (i think Soi 20). I stayed there last April, girl friendly, in-room safe, friendly staff. It's only a couple of yrs old and everything seems new. Can't remember the cost, but some where around 1300 bht/night. http://www.dropinnbangkok.com/main/index.php

I'm a newbie and just returned from my first ever trip to Pattaya, spent 6 days there at the Areca Lodge (great place). I got back on the 13th and (I swear) haven't been able to go more than a couple of hours without thinking of the LOS. I truly am ruined for life I'm afraid...making plans to return in Feb. Some of my freinds have asked me to describe it, but it's hard to put into words. I'm now trying to figure out if my military retirement and savings (after I sell my house) will allow me to retire somewhere in Thailand. God, what a place!!!!!

Anyone wanting to share a Taxi from Nana to Pattaya on 5 Nov...probably early afternoon timeframe?

Regarding the Drop Inn...I stayed there in April of 2005. Nice place, fairly new, girl friendly (no joiner fee). Friendly staff, close to Soi Cowboy and the Sky Train. They use regular keys that you leave at the desk when you go out. Quiet location, just off Soi 20, massage places and a beer bar very close. Electronic safes in room, AC was good.
