db74, I have stayed at Areca 5 times and loved it. I have NEVER sent my CC details,but they do take a copy of it on check in,no probs there. On the girl side of things,you can take TWO girls to your room with nop charge,but breakfast is only supplied for TWO guests not three. You will love Areca,and will have no problems at all. Heres a tip.Nancy is the Manager and she loves Aussie Chardonay,so take a bottle or two for her,and you will get anything you want. Ned.

We saw this type of service on Beach rd,and decided to book it. Pty to airport was 800 Baht,between two of us,bloody cheap. We asked it to arrive at our hotel half an hour before we needed it,just in case it didnt show up,then we could make other arrangements. Arrived on time,brand new Toyota as seen on Beach Rd. We asked to go via Tollway ,which of course was extra,and we stopped at the refresher stop half way. All up cost was 1300 Baht including tip and tolls. NED P.S,Im pretty sure we saw this service just past TQ1.

GEES,does it rain in Pattaya? Ive been there seven times and never noticed the weather,i guess there are too many women and bars to keep my mind and body occupied. Anyway an easy so solution to the weather might be. If its too hot,stay in your room with a Thai Darling.If its raining ,stay in your room with two Thai Darlings. JUST GET OVER THERE,you wont care if it SNOWS the whole time.

This is my choice of hotels in Fun Town. Good Points. 1. Great service and staff. 2.VERY girl friendly and no joiner fee. 3.Two great pools,Gym and two saunas. 4.Huge breakfast included in the price,and if you have a guest her breakfast is free also. 5. A thirty second walk to a group of twelve beer bars,and ten minute stroll to Walking St.or Soi 7/8. 6.Every area of the hotel is very clean. 7.Only 990 Baht. 8.Condoms supplied in the room. 9.Balcony. Bad Points. 1.Those bloody Roosters.(Take a room in the block closest to Soi dianna 2.Air Con is noisey. 3.Room service closers too early.

JDS, If this is your first trip,i would say thats a good budget to have.Once you hit the bars and Go Gos on your first trip,its easy to let your budget blow out. You will quickly forget how much youre spending,because the one and only thing on your mind is having a ball. If you read as much as you can from this forum,that will go along way to controlling your spending,however once those Maidens work out your a Newbie,all your logic will go out the window. Anyway, your better taking too much money and blowing it,than running out of money with a few days left,a total disaster in my mind.

I have been flying Royal Brunei from Perth to Bangers,on my last four trips,and it was brilliant. Cost was $700.00 return,(including taxes).You stop over in Brunei for 1 hour and hit Don Muang at about 9.30 pm,just in time to party,or head South to Fun town. They dont offer alcohol on the flight,(no big deal),but you can BYOG. Compadre this to Thai airlines at about $1,200.00,a great saving.

No argument,Pattaya wins hands down. Spend two or thre days in Bangers,then head to Fun Town. BANGKOK:Massive traffic problems,and pollution.Overcrowded,and pushy girls. PATTAYA:Bugger all traffic,no pollution,BEACHES,more beer bars than you could visit,and MANY more Go Gos than Bangers>and many more girls than Bangers. Anyway,each to their own i guess.
