hotels koh samui,koh chang

hi guys iam planning a trip to one of the islands for a few weeks on my next trip,i was wandering if any of you guys know if travel agents in pattaya are cheaper to book hotels with or is it best to turn up looking for a room.iam in los mid nov to mid feb will there be better deals nov or end of jan with the time of year i think i will have to book as soon as i get to los many thanks guys

Much easier to get to Ko Samet from Pattaya than either Chang or Samui. I enjoyed Samet very much. Btw-If going to Ko chang or Ko Samet make sure to bring a girl with you.
