Hotels close to Apex

Found out from a friend the 3 bars beside the Apex will be closed and demolished in the next few weeks, the houses and trees behind the shops in Soi Honey are being cleared back now as far as pimms bar opposite the Honey Inn. What is being built and when it starts I don't know but am not willing to take the chance and stick with my Apex booking for Xmas, so here's the question.

 

Between the Apex and past Soi Honey, what hotels are ok to possibly book for xmas, website would be appreciated if they have one.

Try Intown Holiday in Soi Honey. Just a few steps to walk to Apex to have the breakfast buffet (not recommended at Intown). Same prices as Apex, anyway, in my opinion the better hotel. Pool at the roof (10th floor). Have stayed there 5 times already. Try to get a room to the back, as there are no bars etc., absolutely quiet. A lot of reviews can be found on OfBBoard, have a look at this:

Don't know prices at Xmas, believe around 650/700. I normally paid 450 in July or 500 in April. For October they quoted 500 as well.

Note: Even they show Soi 10 as their postal address, the entrance now is in Soi 11 (Soi Honey). From Apex go right until 7/11, then right into Soi Honey, the hotel is approx. 200m on the left side.
