Will be in bangkok from the 5th of december and pattaya from the 19th december, anyone hanging around bangkok before going to pattaya like to meet up for a few beers.

i'm in bkk on evening of the 16th.... travelling down to pty midday on the 17th

 

sure if you want to hook up for a few beers on the 16th i'm up for it, will have been away for 2 weeks before then with my tgf so i think i will be celebrating being a butterfly again LOL

Afraid so, buy law no alcohol can be sold, hence bars closed. :crying

Yep never knew it was the kings birthday when i booked the flight, I would have delayed for a day if i knew!

Stop in at the duty free shop in the airport and pick up a bottle and the 7-11 are open. With all the bars closed the Nana Hotel parking lot should have a lot of early rental returns. I consider the Kings birthday a "target rich environment". Happy hunting.

7-11 won't be selling any alcohol on December 5th. I doubt even the airport will. I do know a few places that will though

Booze I can live without, my main concern is girls! With all of the bars and presumably go-gos closed are there still going to be plenty of FLs about or is the whole place pretty much closed for business?

I have been in Pattaya a couple of times now for the King's birthday.

 

Never had a problem getting a drink or a shag.

 

OK Walking St will be out of bounds but get off the beaten track......Soi Chaiyapoon, Buakhow, Naklua...............
