I would say NO! I know Pattaya hotels are really booked right now but I hope you can do better.

I stayed in the old wing for 1 night last May. The carpet was run-down and the bathroom was a joke. It looked like the someone had taken a flame-thrower to the bathroom mirror and floor (melted and discolored). Overall the room just looked old and worn-out.

I'm not that picky but I moved after 1 night of a 10 night stay.

I love the rooms at the Lodge.....but guessing they are booked. Eastiny Inn delux rooms are cheap and nice,,,,,but a little noisy. Sunshine very nice but a little more pricey.

Sandy Spring for my last 2 trips.....but also most likely booked.

Good luck........

was booked in old wing in september

On arrival was put in room 407,it was newly refurbished but very small, the bathroom was a joke it had small shower cubicle and a small hand basin with no shelf.

As i had just arrived some zzz`s were in order, it was impossible to sleep because from 2100 to 0200 the vodka station bar below has the loudest live band playing the windows were actually vibrating to the bass!

I know this is not a big deal if you stay out late but i like to start early and retire for bedroom sports about 2300.

The next morning i asked to be moved to new wing and to pay difference but was told ( no have fully booked sir)

I told them i had two friends arriving in Oct and that i would email them today to tell them to cancel booking but was still given same answer.

Later that day the manager located me by the pool and said that a room was free on the sixth floor in the new wing and if it was ok i could move today and there was no extra charge for my three week stay.

He also asked if i had contacted my friends, obviously he had checked the names

i had given and found them to be true. i told him i had not and thanked him for his great service.

So insist on new wing.
