What sort of prices am i looking at for May 05.......does anyone know of the usual promotions airlines have......and are they at this time of year....

The fares usually start to drop from mid April to end June flights so you should be able to get a deal. I would suggest you wait till January before booking as the promotions will probably start then. The cheapest direct flights from UK are Phuket Air ex Gatwick. From LHR, you should be able to get a deal on Eva for £450 or less.

 

I recommend West East Travel in Hammersmith. They get good rates with both TG and Eva and I am sure they are now selling Phuket Air as well.
