BKK hotel shuttle

Giving some thought to this LOOONNNGGG flight I have coming up and was considering spending the first day in Bangkok. I've heard that some of the hotels offer a shuttle that goes to pattaya. Anyone have any recommendations ?

Dynasty Inn on Soi 4 in BKK. They will transport you to Pattaya...IF..you book into the Dynasty Inn in Pattaya.

Avoid the ones that the only relationship between them and the hotel is that the hotel is acting as a travel agent. If you get one of these they will make many stops at different Bangkok hotels before they head to Pattaya. Some board members have reported that they spent over an hour going to the various hotels while crawling along among the Bangkok traffic. The one Roy mentioned is a direct shot to Pattaya.

Bus service from BKK to Pattaya works well. Only 90 baht and they leave every 30 minutes. Take the Sky-Train to Eckamai Station and the bus terminal is right there. You can see it from the platform.

Big D has the right idea, as I do the bus thing also for 90 Baht
