Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I figured I would start this thread as a service for newbies.

I know of some people that pack everything they need for a 3 week trip and never wash clothes. I like to pack light so I usually bring only enough socks etc for 5 or 6 days. I then have them laundered. Hotels charge way to much so I use laundires by the hotel. I can usually get 5 pairs of socks, 5 t-shirts, 5 boxers, a pair of shorts, pants and a couple of shirts done for around 100 baht. Srevice has always been good drop things off at 5 or 6 in the evening and get them back 10 a.m. the next day. Shirst nicely folded. Everything clean and nice.

Laundires I have used are located:

1. Bewteen Dynasty and Sandy Springs same side of the street as the hotels right next to the dynasty.

2. Another across the street from the tops market/bowling alley on 2nd rd.

3. Just down the street from residence garden going towards pattaya.

4. And there is another across the street from the Arcada lodge. heading back towards second road.

How about the rest of you vets posting where you get laundry done. Help save the newbies a few baht to spend on the girls. :banghead 2guns

I wash my own clothes in the sink, using the bubble bath soap from the hotel :banghead Then I use the money I saved to have a noodle soup off a street vendor 2guns

I usually pull into town with 2 t-shirts, 1 shorts(in a backpack), and the airplane clothes I am wearing. I buy everything I need in Pattaya.

There are at least two laundries across the street from the Residence Garden. I used the one closer to Jomtien and was very satisfied with the prices and service. The ladies working there don't speak a great deal of English, but they're friendly, reliable, and do a good job.

I use the 1 laundry across the street from the RG facing it to the very right ,really nice people . I did have the RG do my laundry but they charge to much and i think they took the laundry across the street anyways

I usually stay on soi 8 or soi 7 and always use this laundry located on the soi conectinting the two. Good value and excellent service.

There are actually two on this side soi, IMO the better one is the small one on same side as P&W next to the white tiled beer bars.

When I was in Pattaya last year I stayed at the Intown Holiday Hotel on Soi 10, 2nd Road - there was a laundry right next door run by a young woman who spoke good English and wasn't hard to look at either; prices and service were great.

I remember she had a lovely little Siamese kitten that I'd play with for a while when I was picking up or dropping off clothes; unfortunately it got run over by a motorbike and the poor girl was devastated.

Hope she and the laundry both are still there in February.

Finding a laundry is about as difficult as finding TG companionship. If your looking at cost, the hotels are the most expensive and most of them send it to a nearby laundry and add a pass through cost. The cheapest are the ones located on the other side of 2nd Rd where I've seen T shirts for as low as 7 baht. On my last trip I found the cheapest as I brought a spare iron and bought a small ironing table and let the TGF take care of it.

Soi 3 near 2nd Road. South side of Soi. Lady does an excellent job. I've had a few TG's comment that it is great service and is reasonably priced.
