singapore to LOS

Recommended Posts

have found a good r/t fare on NWA from MSP-SIN $850usd

was thinking of flighing to SIN spend a day or two as i've never been there and than a couple days in Batan on return.

need to find r/t ticket from sin to eighter pty or bkk preferable upt. checked Jetstarasia and they say they have flights to pattaya but when try to book r/t sin to pty they say non available

checked tiger air they seem to have sin to bkk available some days

is there a travelocity or some thing that will check on several diffrent airlines "from" asia ie singapore to thailand return?

the NWA flight doesn't arrive into singapre till 2400hrs so i don't think i would be able to get a boat to Batan that late would i? or find any p4p at 2-4am

and where in singapore that late, so many questions, so little time!! i know, i know just fly direct to bkk and head right down to pattaya, but verioty is the spice of life and i like mine spicy please!!! :grin-jump

cheers

I have flown into Sing. on courier flights and then headed up to LOS. In my backpack days I would take the bus to Hat Yai, overnight then to either Phuket or Samui. A week there and then overnight bus to BKK and on to Pattaya. Now I fly the SIN-BKK leg and Thai Airways bus down to Pat. Why don't you go into Sing for 1-3 days and then book a flight from one of the hundreds of travel agents on Orchard Rd? There are so many airlines flying the SIN- BKK route that I have always found an acceptable fare for even a 'cheap charlie'. Book it there and forget doing from MSP. I am sure you will be happy to get out of the cold weather. :P

1. I just called JetAsia, they told me their flight schedule to Pattaya only up to 28 February 05. You have to wait for the update of the schedule. As to when you will see the schedule after 28 Feb, they could not confirm. If your dep and return date is before 28 Feb then you should not have any problem.

2. If you arrive in Singapore after midnight, there will be a taxi surcharge, from the airport to the city it may cost you more than USD20 and I don't think there is ferry to Batam that late hour. Suggest that you stay in Singapore for 1 or 2 days then go straight to Pattaya or Bangkok as there is nothing much in Batam and the place is not too safe for foreigners, that is my personal view.

3. From Singapore the cheapast way to fly to Bangkok is via Tiger Air, they have 4 or 5 flights every day and they use new AirBus. Other budget airlines except AirAsia, ValueAiir also uses new AirBus a r/t flight is about USD60-70 (excludes airport tax). Look out for promotion fare, sometime you can get fare as cheap as USD20 r/t. For your info, I am flying to Bangkok again by Tiger Air nest month at this fare. From Singapore only JetAsia flies direct to Pattaya.

4. I dont think there is Trevelocity for this cheap flights.

Let me know if you require further assistance

Either tiger or air asia had been advertising that they would start flying to pattaya from singapore. The last I checked they did not have any flight but that could change. :eyecrazy
