Servisair lounge at heathrow..any good?

hello there ive just found this site (and good it is too!) anyway im off to thailand in april (£384 from west-east with thai airlines as booked by many others it would seem!) and ive seen the above lounge available for £18.00. anyone been there and is it any good ? cheers guys!

To be honest, its not all that great.

 

Only food available is snacks although plenty of them.

 

Full range of drinks so that is O.K.

 

The lounge itself is quite small and can get crowded as it did the last time I was there. I don't think I would bother again.

Hi, as Jambo said the food is only snacks, but i find most lounges in the UK seem to only do snacks. It's not big but as for over crowded i think thats very hit and miss. If i was you i would go for it as it nice to have a good seat alway from everbody in the airport, and don't forget the free drinks and price of them outside. you could end up saving money

Hi Marleyboy, just wondering when you booked your flight as I've been trying to get a cheapie for a couple of weeks, the cheapest available now is over £500 with Thai.

hi orientaltaffy, i booked my flight in january with west-east, actually the price i was quoted was £495! (i thought well with easter and being over songkran etc!) i paid the £50.00 deposit then i got an newsletter from them (worth subscribing to as they let you know when they have specials!) so i phoned them again to pay the remainder of the fare (about 4 weeks ago) and i asked them if i could have the special fare they said the dates id booked were full for the special (£384) fare so i changed my dates (better really as i had an extra 3 days!)paid the rest over the phone and the ticket came 2 days later! BUT! the "special fares!" promotion last day was yesterday!

i think i may use it as im flying out at 12.30 and should get to heathrow at about 09.00 ish! so it may be worth a bash!
