Golf holiday over.

Just a Quickie before popping over to Bali.

 

We finished our golf trip to Phuket yesterday along with Pete and Doghouse making a promo film of golfing in LOS.

 

A great trip but yesterday was the greatest.

 

Mission Hills is a new course and what a course it is. Not because of the condition as the course is still so new that the greens and fairways still need time to settle down but the fantastic layout and dramatic scenery must make this one of the best courses to play on in the world. Everyone and the pro agreed that they had never experienced anything like this anywhere.

 

If anone gets the chance to play there just go for it. Wait for the photos that are bound to follow later.

Hove long to wait for the photos??.

I have plaid all the other Mission Hils design/courses in Thailand so this new on is a must for me next time. If you (anyone) is looking for dramatic scenery go for Kho Samui Golf Course at Santiburi. It has a hight difference of 300 meters.

PS: You plaid Phuket Country club??. Hope you wend for it on 10 hole. If you made it over i one you a beer or 2. You 2 Doghouse. :crying

We didn't get a chance to play Phuket Country Club. We played Loch Palm. The Lakes at Blue Canyon and Mission Hills. Mission Hills Phuket is a must play when you are next there. I am going back in early May to play Phuket Country Club and Mission Hills again. I would like to try Koh Samui sometime as well.

 

We might be organising a trip to play some of the courses in Chiang Mai after the RideHer Cup in November. Please let me know if you are interested.

Hi Doghouse.

10 hole is a par 5 round the water, but you can go for the Green in one.

Only thing is to carry over the whater. Its 240 yard. tray it out.

I relay hope to make the Tripp this Nov. If i am there i garanti you i com alone.

When on Phuket you also have to play The Blue Canyon Course. Its fantastic.

We all stayed at Blue Canyon on the same trip and played the Lakes course.

 

What a bloody shambles. The 5 star hotel is not and neither is the standard of service on or off the course. That was the first and very last time I will go near the place.

 

No buggies allowed on The Canyon course so we took a raincheck and that was the reason we ended up playing at Mission Hills the second day. Did they do us a big favour by being such a scabby dump.

 

Just in case I have not made myself clear. I did not like the place. LOL.
