One thing Pattaya has over Vegas is its not populated by rubes in white polyester leisure suits with white vinyl belts and shoes aka The Full Cleveland, with their fat blue rinse wives in tow. In sleaze terms LV is Grade 3 public school compared to Pty.

YOU are the action so don't get hung up on trying to find it, you know sorta like the forest and the trees....

30 days...? Wished I had that kind of time off. Lets stay economical, as the room at top price isn't really needed. Now, remember, these aren't going to be 5 Star hotels, but all you really need is the basics. The most important thing is a big bed, AC, nice shower and maybe a pool, since it will be very hot.

 

No matter what you learn from this board, it will be forgotten once you get there. Finding your way around is easy, so no need to worry. I'm thinking of trying to get you in a place that will be close to laundry and E-Mail, since you will be there for a month.

 

RG is a very nice place, but for 30 days, it may become a pain in the ass trying to hop a Baht Bus to/from. I like the place, but want to get you in a location that you can easily walk to/from the fun.

 

This place does look nice, I was by it in Feb 2005 and it was impressive. The rates are reasonable and the area is fairly easy to get to. {Areca Lodge}

 

Nice thing about it is, that when you come out of the hotel the action is to your right/left, up to you...
