The new airport seemed to push up the prices of condos in Pattaya - now they have pushed back the opening date.

 

Anyone here dabble in real estate? Can you tell me what is happening with the prices?

Widespread severe water shortage all over the Pattaya region. Thai's have only begun to think about how to deal with this. Something to think about before you invest your money.

I have not been to Pattaya for two years now.

 

What water shortages? I thought bottle water was plentiful in Thailand.

Lived here for 2 years..never experienced any water shortage, despite the thunders of doom from the Pattaya Mail, which has to be about the worst local paper ever!

 

Prices, bought a bungalow on Mike Orchid Villas 2 year ago for 1.9 million. Same house now (next door actually) is on the market at 3.5 million.

 

Same house and plot size on Mike Orchid Villas #2 is 4.1 million.
