Hi there,

Been to Pattaya twice this year and had a few games of well organised golf although maybe a bit expensive. Great courses and loved it so I'm back for more next month. I previously refused offers from a few through this forum as I had booked a package incl. accommodation. Looking to cut costs a bit this time so looking at some options. Would like to play Phoenix and Laem Chabang again and maybe fit in about 3 or 4 games total over 12 days. I'm not a great golfer so not looking for a comp. of any kind but maybe someone can make a few suggestions and keep it clean please. LOL. I'm looking at maybe Monday 13th, Wed. 15th, Fri. 17th and Mon 20th. PM me if you wish. Obviously looking for a cost including Course fees, buggy, caddy fees and transfers to and from. Not a big drinker so I'm not looking for a piss up during or after. Thanks.

Hi Mister C.

Please send me an IM with your email and I will give you the price list for all the courses including transport and caddy fees. We have a golf guide based in Pattaya who will take care of all the logistics and hopefully he will fit you in with some other players.

Cheers

Doggie

Hi Mr C,

I played with a society that meets at one of the bars on Soi Yamoto (The Rising Sun I think) when I was there last Xmas. About 14 odd players both times I played. They play every Tuesday and Thursday leaving at 10am. There is a board in the bar with which courses they are playing next. Cost was 250Bht for the transport and 250Bht for the stableford comp (which you didn't have to enter).

I played the Phoenix and Century courses. Green and caddy fee's at one was 700bht and 1200bht at the other if my memory is correct. Not expensive at all. I had a great time with a mix of holidayers and expats and there was no pressure to drink or partake of the fun in Laem Chabang on the way back !!! I walked rounf but the buggies were no more than 600bht at either course.

Don't know whether that helps but as a 12mth newbie to the game I was able to have fun and enjoy it although my caddy did look a little depressed at the end of the round :banghead
