HOW OFTEN IS BUS SCH. TO PATTAYA

Recommended Posts

They depart every half hour from Mochit and Ekamai terminals until around midnight. I think on the hour and half hour. Sometimes they're full so you'll have to wait for the next one. Look for the window that says Pattaya.

There is a bue direct from the airport , I think It's 3 times a day, 9.00, 12.00, and 17.00, check at the airport before you catch a bus to the bus station.

The last time I cought the direct bus from the airport it was 200 Baht.

HOW long is the journey to PAttaya?

Where does the bus stop I mean in Pattaya?

I believe the bus that he is referring to is the one that is run by Thai Limo. In the past I use to take the one that departed the airport at 12:00. It would stop at the Thai Limo office on 3rd Rd in Pattaya. A few weeks back another boardmember had posted on this board that Thai Limo was no longer offering this service.

I've tried to do some research online to find out how early the buses from Mochit and Ekamai terminals leave for Pattaya. I can't seem to find their full schedules anywhere though. 2guns

Any idea how early they begin leaving in the morning? Can you get their schedules online somewhere? Thanks!

Result of googling bus schedules. Not certain how often bus goes from Northern Bus Terminal. Found it in a flash. :beer

By Bus : This is the easiest and most popular way to get to Pattaya. You can take a bus at the Eastern Bus Terminal on Ekmai Road in Bagkok. There are air-conditioned buses leaving daily from 5.30 am-9 pm. The bus departs every 40 minutes. Tel.0 2391-9829. There are also the second-class air-conditioned buses leaving every 30 minutes from 5.00 am-9.00 pm. Tel.0 2391-2504. Alternatively, you can take a bus at the Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2) on Paholyothin Raod. Air-conditioned buses leave daily from 6.30 am-6.30 pm. Te. 0 2936-2852-66.

growler - Could you post the site you gained your info from? Typically I get a lot of very basic info from travel websites about buses in Thailand and not the full blown, nationwide schedules I'm looking to find. You can find them for the train system but not the buses.

I also had found that buses left around 5:00am to Pattaya but really wanted to back it up somewhere so I'm not dicking around at Mochit at 5am. If we both found the same info I guess it's correct. I've heard the Thai Limo mini bus service to Pattaya is kaput yet all the travel sites still show the service. I just want to avoid relying on old data.

I'd really love to find the full Thai bus system schedule as I will be travelling nationwide. Spacebass, that was a great site, just the kind of thing I am looking for but I think they are a private company.

raykaytat - And thanks as well. That site is handy for a ton of reasons!
