Hot Water & Shelves !

Something that has always bugged me about hotels in Thailand is the lack of HOT water in the wash basins . It's usually just luke warm water from the tank on the roof - not much good for shaving . I normally have to get hot water from the shower .

 

Another gripe is the lack of shelving to hold your clothes . They all have wardrobes for your shirts but they don't usually have a chest of drawers or shelves to place the rest of your clothes .

 

So can anyone recommend a hotel in the Soi 12/13 area in the up to 1000 baht range which has good shelves & more importantly good hot water .

Hi Turbo,

 

shelves you can get but hot water is a bigger problem in hotels up to 1000 baht. I think you must find a 5-star hotel to get that.

Hey Turbo,

 

Bay Breeze on Soi Honey Inn always has hot water when I've stayed there, and yes they even have shelves and a drawer or two.

 

Good hotel for the price. Well worth checking out.

they really heat the water? - I've stayed in many hotels in Thailand and only one I've found doing that is the Oriental!

 

Normally you don't know if you use the warm or the cold water.......

Eastiny place always has hot water, sometimes too hot, but shelves thats a problem why not use you case or bag like a majority

Cheers guys . The Bay Breeze was one of the hotels I was considering so I'll probably try it . Would I need to make a booking for late August or could I do a walk in ?

Just walk in, ask for Pha-yow she is the manager. Then bargain right form there. also the gay guy has the authority too, but you have to of been a past guest, and know them.
