Here's EVA's B773ER scheduled operation for the first couple aircraft. Looks like BKK will get a permanent B773 and HKG will get one during the shakedown period. From there, it looks like it'll mostly be LHR and BKK:

I understand the first of the new aircraft is due off the production line in the next couple of weeks for testing etc prior to delivery to EVA so hopefully some pics and more details of the new cabins will appear shortly afterwards.

I have no idea what you've just said in American English, but that plane looks great! I get to ride it in Premium Laurel 17 August....way before any of you gits or scousers across the pond!

 

EDIT: I guess it means EVA's product should leave the other airlines in the dust. If that's so, I'd have to agree. The C+, Y+ deal that is gonna be hard to top.

right then! someone please talk me out of this deal! im going out in october for 3 weeks havent found any outstanding deals yet (best is £399 with ethihad )most ive ever paid was £520 on thai last christmas! id prefer direct and i usually fly thai the last 2 times i flew thai i went business class one way both times and to be honest i wasnt that impressed! so really the only problem i have with paying £888 is ive never paid that much b4! but the new seats look brilliant!so please talk me out of it! (or on second thoughts talk me into it!) sorry for prattling on! but ive got to convince myself to pay the extra 3 or 5 hundred to fly premium laurel class!

I agree that TG business class was absolute shit. The premium laurel deal seems great and I would use it if I lived down around LHR. The biggest problem with flying in decent business class is going back to economy afterwards.

I don't think I could talk you out of flying EVA's Premium Laurel or Evergreen Deluxe. I have flown both and liked both. Of course, the Evergreen Deluxe was on a B744 so it was old, but still quite comfortable. I can say I'd never fly to BKK again unless it was in at least a Y+ or higher seat.

yeah its a cracking deal! ive talked myself out of buying it twice now! thing is im going on my own this time! so if i dont tell the missus im going business she wont know will she?!! plus as tom says its reallly hard to go back to "cattle class!" so i may just treat myself this time! plus you get to use the lounges (is it the london lounge in heathrow eva use?) so i may well book it on monday!
