hand luggage gulf air

flying out in august with gulf air, simple question what are they like for hand luggage any probs

Well nobody seems to be answering this.

I have never had any problems on Gulf, but I normally go biz class. Economy is pretty cramped. If you do get any aggravation it will be at Heathrow. That said, most customers are Middle Eastern and tend to travel with the kitchen sink! Play safe, keep your hand bagage to 'normal' sort of levels, then get the duty free and other stuff in Bahrain.

I don't carry too much when I travel out there, you can buy mostly what you need pretty cheaply on arrival. have fun.

Travelled with Gulf Air once, no problem with hand luggage, but kept it to a small bag.

I suppose if you try to carry a large case on as hand luggage you'll get agro and rightly so, how many times do you see passengers or crew struggling to get a large bag into the overhead lockers, it can be annoying especially when they stand blocking the Aisle for ten minutes or else the space that should be there for you is fully taken up by somebody elses kitchen sink

Hand luggage not a problem but they are bastards for charging over weight in you checked in luggage.. Be carefull
