Microsoft started to use a verification process before you can use any online-update for the Windows operating system.

It was supposed to be the hit against all fake copies.

 

we all use genuine products , but , how easy it is to deactivate this function?

 

In the internet-explorer you go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > PROGRAMS > MANAGE ADD ONS and simply deactivate the add-on...........

I assume that you need your product no from the installation CD? I'm using a lap topp just now and didn't get a Windows XP CD so I just hope that the product no I can access is the full number.

 

Wombat, I would imagine that Bill Gates and his employees will have thought of that. How do you think he became so wealthy?

I recently did the verification process and it went through without my having to use the codes on the original cd's. Was smooth and easy.

Stealing Ideas from other people maybe? And later when he was wealthy already, buying applications from other companies and make them very expensive?
