I will be arriving in Bkk on Jan 15 also. What time will your flight arrive? I"m coming from the other direction.

Get kicked out of my hotel about 11, but Im sure I can find something nice to do for a couple of hours

If you could get yourself out to the Airport, you should be able to get a bus for a 100 baht or so, I would be only to happy to share.

Yeah, Does seem a little unlikely, having said that the flight may be pretty quiet but at that time of year again a little unlikely.

 

Don't know what happened to Seabass. No doubt you would read my offer to share a taxi if he could get himself out to the airport round about my arrival time. He didn't even have the decency to reply.

 

A polite message saying thanks but no thanks would not have gone amiss.

 

An offer of help amongst fellow boardies you would think would be met with

some common courtesy.

 

I suppose it takes all kinds.

No problem, I arrive at approx. 12.10 pm on Emirates from Dubai. I already have a taxi booked to pick me up. If you can make it out to the Airport for about 12.45 pm I would be happy to share.
