I have an overactive imagination.

I have realized by living here in Pattaya these past couple of months ... I'm finally recovering from my time in the Navy on my Submarine.

Imagine being underway on a Submarine for 3 months straight.

You'll go insane.

Well, I didn't ... but I came close.

I saw many others go insane. Not a pretty sight. One threatened to kill the Captain and then kill himself. I have no problem with one killing themselves, but no bring others with you.

 

If you're on the top of a building threatening to jump, I'll be there with a boombox and playing Van Halen's "Jump"

 

So, the one that went insane had to be medicated by the doc and segregated from the rest of the crew (put in the Torpedo Room in the corner while someone watched over them with a loaded gun).

Realize this is extreme underway circumstances. We were off the coast of Country X and tension was running high.

Even the Captain had to take extra time off to go back aft and workout to clear his mind.

 

So, I've been here in Pattaya and have been thinking more and more of my past life on my Submarine.

What a ride it was.

A true roller-coaster ride.

The highs were really high, but the lows were extremely low.

 

So, I sit here working hard (or hardly working) ... while using my overactive imagination.

 

Right now, the thought is of cookies.

Oh shit, I have some cookies over there.

Yummy!

 

maybe Jesus Christ wants some too!

He can ask, but I'll just say "No cookies for joo!!!!"
