  3. Taking Harris Black's photo is funny? funny how? too much work for me. No time to loose. Have schoolwork to do ... and all that jazz. Funny is watching Soi 7 throw my livein in the pool, towel and all. Yeah baby! though I'll probably end up paying for the laundry service for the towel (giggles)
  4. where's the punchline?
  5. Yes. You are referring to Soi 7. Yes, he's living on roughtly $500 a month (20,000 baht). Yes, it's realistic. The Condo is nice. I live nearby to Soi 7 and in the same Condo complex. My room size is the same as his. It is nice for me and has all I ever want. Yes it's near Shagwell Mansions. Yes, it's a bit off the beaten track, but it's still near everything. Besides, what people fail to recognize is that the condo complex here has almost everything. It has many salons, internet cafes, bars, haircut places, restaurants, mini marts, and even room service. Maid cleaning of your room can even be arranged. There's 2 swimming pools. And, daily garbage collection. Security guards that roam around and protect the grounds. Even a front gate with security guards that raise and lower the drawbridge. No, Soi 7 did not cut off his internet access to his room. He still has internet access in his room. He is still on the internet. No, he doesn't post here anymore for his own personal reasons. To you, $500 is cutting it close, but for Soi 7 ... it's not. He lives within his budget and does so nicely. He does all he wants. Even go out to nice dinners from time to time. Yesterday, even bought some of that Gelato Italian Ice Cream. It was good. Nothing like Dairy Queen Ice Cream, though. (smiles) Yes, Soi 7 bought his condo. No, it's not a shoebox. It's a decent sized room with western toilet, a balcony, fully furnished, with lots of storage space too. His room has more amenities than my room! Add to all this, Soi 7 is living within his budget in PATTAYA. Not up north where it's cheaper. Also remember, Soi 7 doesn't drink or smoke ... so that's an added expense he doesn't have.
  6. I just did my first Visa Run today. Went smoothly. Same place as Ting and Soi 7 used. 1700 baht all in but I spent 80 baht on food at the rest stops (chicken pie, twix bar, and an ice coffee) and 3 baht to take a piss. Not a bad day so far. And, I slept on the bus each way, so it didn't seem that long. I woke up to hear two Australian's in the back chatting away about everything. Was about 1 hour total in Cambodia. That was the boring part, as I just sat at the table there and stared blankly into space. Left ay 7am exactly, and got back at 3pm exactly. 8 hours total. Decent and affordable. I'd hate to do this run every month. I'm glad I only have to do it every 3 months. Nonetheless, if it means staying in Thailand another 3 months ... I do what I have to do. Maybe next time I do a side trip to Cambodia or PI. PI sounds nice, as I never been there.
  7. I am Jack's medula oblongata
  8. I just read this post and went to World Wide A Go-Go on Beach Road near Soi 7. I watched the staff. I sat down, ordered a drink. Watched the fugly ladies on stage 2 minutes later, I get the "You want company?" line from service staff. I say YES. I look to the flock of girls lazily sitting in the back. I didn't care which one. I get the loudmothed, tatto'd, scraggly-toothed one with the short hair. JOY!!!! I convinced her I spoke thai and was listening to everything the girls were saying. It was fun! No pressures for another drink. no pressures for a barfine. I just had a nice trip at a go-go and away from the livein. For only the cost of a Tiger Beer for me, and a LD for her. Not bad! A good way to run the business. Now, if only the quality of girls improved.... So, I checkbinned and left, shaking thr hand of the bar girl that sat with me. and getting a quick wai from the service staff and a "thank you, come again" from the hello men with the signs outside. edit... I just remembered, I did get the "You buy me drink" line from a service staff lady. I quickly said, "I already have lady I buy drink for" She retorted with "You have 1 lady, but 2 drinks" I liked her response, but since I'm on a budget ... I declined her offer. Had I been on holiday, I'd have bought her a drink. She smiled nonetheless, and scampered off.

    Spooky.

too late. (giggles) ... but the cookies were good. ... and I saw Jesus Christ again. ... but didn't get any of my cookies.
  10. Has jeff eaten shit before? How would he know what shit tastes like? (giggles) I am in a Critical Thinking class right now. So, I have to think critically. Perhaps I'm over thinking this one. I know, "tastes like shit" is just a saying.

You have no idea how high I can get. (giggles) I have an overactive imagination. I have realized by living here in Pattaya these past couple of months ... I'm finally recovering from my time in the Navy on my Submarine. Imagine being underway on a Submarine for 3 months straight. You'll go insane. Well, I didn't ... but I came close. I saw many others go insane. Not a pretty sight. One threatened to kill the Captain and then kill himself. I have no problem with one killing themselves, but no bring others with you. If you're on the top of a building threatening to jump, I'll be there with a boombox and playing Van Halen's "Jump" So, the one that went insane had to be medicated by the doc and segregated from the rest of the crew (put in the Torpedo Room in the corner while someone watched over them with a loaded gun). Realize this is extreme underway circumstances. We were off the coast of Country X and tension was running high. Even the Captain had to take extra time off to go back aft and workout to clear his mind. So, I've been here in Pattaya and have been thinking more and more of my past life on my Submarine. What a ride it was. A true roller-coaster ride. The highs were really high, but the lows were extremely low. So, I sit here working hard (or hardly working) ... while using my overactive imagination. Right now, the thought is of cookies. Oh shit, I have some cookies over there. Yummy! maybe Jesus Christ wants some too! He can ask, but I'll just say "No cookies for joo!!!!" He can turn water into cookies, these are mine!!!!
  12. true story... My livein and I are about 1 block from home. We buy the corn I want and some fruit for her. She hops on the motorbike and motions for me to hop on the back. I say "We not far from home, I can walk" She speeds off. i walk. When back in the room, I ask why she not like to walk. She says "I walk too much at my work." She is a mamasan at a popular bar here in Pattaya. (she walks from table to table all night long) I said "good point. No walking for you!!" She says she knows I like to walk.
  13. From your recommendation many months ago, Soi 7, I got my Non Im 'O' multiple entry visa through the Denver office. Jan was my contact. She was extremely helpful. My claim was processed and turned around the same day. I got mine on June 28th. Nice stamp in my Passport. (smiles)
