Cabana Hotel Phi Phi

I am looking for words of wisdom from anyone who has been to Phi Phi Island, specifically the cabana hotel there.

I stayed there a few years ago and thought it overpriced. I would check though as the tsunami will have changed the face of accommodation on Phi Phi.

I stayed there during my first visit to Thailand back in -87.

Then it was just basic coconut-huts, for 400 baht a night, expensive back then!

I'm quite sure the Tsunami has destroyed all the hotels in the low-lying double-beach strip! Not sure if they are rebuilding them or not, because I've not been there after the Tsunami. plahgat
