does any body know what day its starts this year and what time it has to finish.

 

2004 it started on the 13th from 11am and finished at 6pm - 19th april same 6pm

2005 it started on the 12 from midnight and finished at 8pm - 19th april - 9pm

Count on it starting even a day earlier in Pattaya and going long as they can get away with it!!!!

Wow I fly out on the 12th of April! I went in Dec-Jan and booked again 2 day after been back!

 

I'm only 20 and I love Pattaya! God help me!

 

Anyone out there for the Songkran?

 

I went with a lot of people but this time I'm out on my own!

In Pattaya it lasts from 13th April to 19th April with the 19th being total mayhem. I have just had these dates confirmed by my travel agent who is booking me a holiday in Malaysia from 12th to 20th April inclusive.

The official Songkran is april 18-19 (see here) but as always in Pattaya it's a whole week and must start the 13th as Eneukman and his travel agent said.

Songkran is the worst experience I have ever had in my life.

It is bad enough Thais throwing cold water over you but fuckwit falang blasting you with water cannons while you are on your mobile phone and dressed in your good clothes later in the evening is not my cup of tea by any meams.

I guess it is worth experiencing once but that is it.Many expats leave at that time of year.

Them girls are hunters and I remember the scratch's fom Soi 6 when I went down one night alone! Best to move in packs in Pattaya!

 

Will be there on the Thursday night, quick shower then out! Guess I will start vic's bar then move up! Man I can't wait!
