The Jucazzi takes awhile to heat up especially if you have not set the temp. I had to set it when I stayed their a few years ago. Could be broken now, who knows. Staff were very responsive when ever I needed anything. Overall. this hotel is my favorite, excellent access to the action, yet resonably quiet despite that. Yes, has it's drawbacks since no evelator if you stay on the top floors. Other than that, a hidden gem.

The rooftop or "Penthouse" room.  Room is actually not that big, just a bed and sitting area, but you get a lot of space on the roof patio with the hot top.

You wrote its a drawback that there is no elevator, so i want to know in what floor number the room is.

If the hotel have 10 floors then it might be worse.

If its only 3 i cant see a problem.

So, how many floors does the hotel have ?

Anyway, I send them the registration form 2 times but did not get a response.

Seems like they are not interessted in Customers.

This is the email which I used, and received a reply within hours:

swissfd@loxinfo.co.th

If it is what you used and they have not replied, then hey, scratch them off. With so many good hotels in Pattaya, why stay with one not responsive. In any case. the the rooftop Penthous is on the forth floor. Thiningk about this made me remember one other thing which I liked about it. When you come back with a girl, your room is hot because the AC needs your room key to work. So you can get the AC started, and then play around (or the main event) in the hot tub while waiting for the room to cool.

A have sent a email for a reservation (of the rooftop suite) for this summer and they have answered me the day after.

But is a problem (for the privacy) if i want boom boom with a girl in the jacuzzi (especially with daylight), someone can see me (from the other buildings)?

Now from few months the internet site of the hotel have a lot of images of the rooms.

But how is the bathroom? and there is a dvd player now or only a vcd player in the room?

I have got a reply now.

Jacuzzi room is not free anymore, the lido suite with 200qm seems a bit big for 1 person :cry1 but i like the seaview terrace.

I made a reservation now from 10.5.-17.5.

>your room is hot because the AC needs your room key to work

It is a keycard and does the room has a 'hole' where you have to put the card when you stay in the room ?

A lot of Hotels have this but to turn electricity on you normaly only have to put _something_ inside the keyhole, even a piece of paper work.

I was also told in January that the Jacuzzi Room at Swiss Food was booked for April 24-30.

I decided to go with Bella Villa Prima rather than the offer on the Lido Suite. I was also considering the penthouse at the Vault, but both the Lido Suite and Vault penthouse seemed a little too much for a single traveler. Please post a review on the Lido Suite after your trip.

Who's that riding in the sun?

Who's the man with the itchy gun?

Who's the man who kills for fun?

Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Dad.

He sleeps with a gun

Killed his wife 'cos she weighed a ton.

Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad.

A little touched or so we're told

Killed his wife 'cos she had a cold

Might as well she was getting old

Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad.

He's quick with a gun

And his job ain't done.

He's Psycho Dad

Who's that riding in the sleigh?

Who's that firing along the way?

Who's roughing up bums on Christmas day?

Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad

Who's that riding across the plain?

Who's lost count of the wives he's slain?

Who's the man who's plumb insane?

Who's the stranger riding there?

The one with the gun and the icy stare

The one with the scalp of his ex-wife's hair

Hehe, just as i write this there is Al in the TV. Ok, i've seen all episodes 100 times before but its still great :)

Im not sure for Lido Suite now. Its in the Lido Beach Hotel, i did not know this.

I read some reviews about it and it seems they dont have in-room safes. If this is the case i will cancel and check for something else.

The rooftop is pretty private. The hot tub is next to a two walls in a sorta of a corner and there are screens you can bring down around the edge of the patio. But if I remember correctly, even with the screens rolled up, it was private enough that to me and the "modest" bar girls (at least at night) did not have a problem with it. I never felt that anyone could see us. BTW, the view from the top is not actually that great. You can see the ocean, but not a whole lot of it. The nightlife in soi Diamond was more intersting to me!

As for the AC, I was a first time noob to Thailand, and did not know that trick then, so I don't know if it would work or not. In any case, the room is actually not huge and cooled down fairly fast. There is only a bedroom with sitting area. No bathtub, but you don't need that with the hot tub. I am tempted to book it again, but I am trying to keep my costs down this time, since I might stay in Pattaya for up to five weeks. I will probably take one if their 1000 or 800 bath rooms or there about. One nice thing I noticed is that their menu has greatly expanded. What they had there before was good eating, looks like there is more now. Nice German resturant just up the soi, where you can eat and watch the go-go girls arrive for the soi Diamond go-gos and the one accross from the resturant.
