I am in bangkok then pattaya for a total of three weeks is it worth getting a local sim card for my mobile to make and receive calls thanks for any advice

I would. But I like to collect thwe girls #'s and then I have more options. I also have friends all over the country and it makes it easier to plan things.

YES!!! it only costs about 200-300 baht for a sim. i still have my sim which i hope to be using soon. its even quite cheap to make international calls considering its a mobile!

there is a number you can dial before you dial your required no makes it even cheaper, sorry cant think of it at moment maybe some else can post it for you

If your dialing the uk from a Thai sim put a 9 inbetween the 00 and 44.

 

It makes it a lot cheaper but i dont know why?
