Hotel with Bath tub and Poll

Used to stay at the Chaba Hut in Soi Boukhow which was perfect for me, but just found out they have put price up by 50%. Not happy.

 

Can anybody recommend a Hotel with decent Pool and now thinking about a Bath Tub as well. A DVD player would also be good. Guest friendly, not too fussed about area. 1k or less would be nice.

 

Having searched here Sunshine aparments in Soi 8 seems to fit. Maybe Welcome Plaza as well

stayed at the welcome plaza a few times, I always stay in the honey suite on the top floor! big bath tub,massive room, terrace balcony with great views across pattaya, big pool 2000 baht per night! well worth the extra money!

 

I have not stayed in a standard room but they are about 800 baht per night!

yes girl friendly, no problem bringing 2 back either!!

 

Just the usual, leave id at reception,

 

sometimes I'd phone some short time, the reception would ring to say lady here, so I'd say send em up!!

For hotels under 1k with bath tub and pool, the choice is wide. Welcome Plaza, Royal Palace, Royal Twins offer large pool and rooms. AA offer compact room and nice view from the pool. Nautical Inn, the oldest hotel in Town, offer extra large garden and bath tub in bulding. Twins Palm offer nice pool and different rooms.

I stayed at AA Recidence (soi 13) months ago, 600 baht/day , bathroom with bathtub, have pool on roof and dvd player (100 baht) for rent at the reception.

I am not really fussy about the room as normally have too much else on my mind, however when I sober up it has to be to a certain standard. I do look on the website and see the room advertised for 900 bht and must admit I am a little concerned.

It's true Welcome Plaza rooms are very old. I remember the rooms have central a/c, and it did blew dusty old smelling air. Changing rooms was futile, since it would be the same a/c anyway. Rooms with their own a/c units are preferable in most hotels in Pattaya nowadays, since they are easier to keep clean and for upkeep. The one redeeming factor is a very nice pool.
