Hey All-

I am thinking about relocating to Thailand and am going to do a "trial run" this summer from around June 20th to mid September, and possibly longer, till mid December in Pattaya.

I am semi-retired and would like to do some volunteer work while I am there for my visit and keep doing it if I move there....

So I know about the Redepmtionist Center and Orphanage, and have dropped them a line, curious if anyone knows of any other oppurtunities?

I am learning Thai, though very much still a beginer, English is my first language, and I do have a college degree.

Volunteer stuff I have done:

~Answered calls at a suicide prevention hotline (very rewarding and stressful!)

~Teacher's aid for a first grade classroom,

~Assisting at a homework center for middle school and high school kids

~Giving elderly people rides to the grocery store and doctor's appointments

I'm looking for maybe 10-15 hours a week.

Any leads appreciated- post here or email me at devaloverXYZ@gmail.com, just remove the XYZ for spam protection.

peace,

DL
