HELP needed for Hotel Recommendation

Recommended Posts

HI all!

I will be going to Pattaya on 1st of June 2006. but i have yet to book a hotel. i used to stay at Chaba Hut. i was wondering if there are any newer and better hotel rooms / suites that i can get probably ard 1,000 baht - 1,200 baht per night. and the rooms probably just have to be clean, safe, and good air-con. breakfast included would be better.

thanks bros, for helping me! am kinda nervous, cos if i am not wrong i will be hitting the peak session period. was also wondering if i should book in advance or wait till i get there personally. appreciate all comments and help.

girl friendly hotels too, if possible. thanks again

Cheers!

Definately not peak season, you will have no problem finding hotel.

The Areca loodge on Soi Diana is in your budget, but look through the hotel review section.

There are quite a few accomodations in this price range you should try searching around this section or the hotel reviews for some better answers, it is almost impossible for someone to remember them all. :clap2

Hi dry gin

Don`t panic! As pattysteve states it will not be high season, almost the opposite.

Should be plenty of choice. In addition to those already suggested you could try Dynasty Inn,Sandy Springs and Whitehouse Condotel as well as a few others on soi13

Lek hotel soi12/13. Take a look at some of the reviews for these and others and see what you like the sound of.

You have nothing to be nervous about

Have a good trip! :clap2

Hardly the high season although there may be an influx to enjoy the World Cup.

I doubt you would have a problem finding a room, even just 'walk-in' Just book one or 2 nights if you feel at risk without a reservation, then spend a few hours first day finding a longer term stay. One thing I would always advise is 'unless you know the place' don't pay in advance for your whole stay. You can get some great deals just staying in the rooms over small bars.

Click 'hotels' at the top of this page!

I'm not sure how many tourists will head to Pattaya for the World Cup with the time difference to consider, but you shouldn't have any problem going to Pattaya w/o a reservation and finding a place. But it is worthwhile IMO to look through the places on the review section and make plans ahead of time just to not have to bother with the hassle.

I wouldn't really want to spend time looking at different places trying to decide where to stay on my visit. just pick a place and in the course of your trip look at different places to consider for next time.

Stayed at Chaba hut a couple of times but now they have put prices up. It is now low season so you won't have a worry although I would recommend booking something on the net for 1 or 2 days and looking round. You should be able to negotiate a good deal.

Yo Dude,

the best advice you have received is look on the net. Look at the reviews and prices and book on line for the best price. Look at thaidiscounthotels.com for example. Anyway your not going to get any sleep !!!

Good luck while it points up.

Monty
