Lek hotel - elevator change

Just read this on asiatravel site - Lek hotel:

 

From 22 May - 13 June 2006, hotel will close the elevator of the main building in order to change to the new one. Sorry for inconvenience caused.

 

Just so that you guys who are planning on staying there in that period (like me) know what to expect (alot of stair climbing)

It is good to know that the Lek is still updating there facility.

We have stayed there twice before.

I really can think of no problems at all. In January we will stay there for 10 days in the new wing for 1000 bht per night.

When I read the reviews on this place I don't know why it is not a favorite booking hotel. I think it maybe the name. Lek does not sound too appealing. I believe the lek gets a lot of repeat business and not so many newcomers.

Great hotel for the price with one of the best locations in Pattaya.

I recommend it without reservation.
