I miss the photos that were being posted so here is my small contribution. I don't take alot of pictures so I won't be posting every day. If I get a positive response then I will try to post more.... Most of the pictures here are of Koh Larn the photos here were not all taken on the same day..... hope you enjoy

cheers Wrassell

Koh Larn is a great day trip from the city. Accomodations tend to be a little pricey on most islands in Thailand, Koh Larn included. Most people tend to take the ferry out for 20 baht each way then return on the 5PM ferry boat back. Catch the ferry at the Bali Hai Pier at the south end of walking street. the trip takes about 45 minutes each way, very relaxing ride there is a boat to the island at 10AM then 12noon later than that and you won't have much time out there to enjoy......

If you like to stay on the island ask any of the taxis they are all pretty good guys out there.

Apologies to wrassell for any kind of thread hijack but I notice I seem to have lost the ability to PM other members and when I tried to start a thread to enquire about this in the appropriate section it would seem that I've lost that right as well. As I seem to be able to reply at least in this thread I just wondered if there was any particular reason for this? MM, Pete, any ideas?

ahhh koh larn....

while there, you must visit steve's bar (turn left on jetty, walk further 20-30 yards), great great guy, who's been living on the island for over 7 years

Koh larn is great(if a bit expensive when you get there)

It is only 20 baht from bali hai pier to get there(great value)

I rented a motorbike with my girl just 1 week ago and toured the whole island........ white sand, clean warm water, bloody great!!!

Well worth the visit if you are in pattaya even if its for a day visit to the island(as rooms ARE expensive on the island to rent)

I will be going again to koh larn for sure as i liked it mak mak.
