Eva reduce Air Miles

Recommended Posts

Just received latest update from Evergreen News for August 2006 and Eva are reducing air mile accumulation in certain classes.

Down to 80% of mileage flown in certain classes of economy notable "U" class of which of my last 14 flights on Eva have been in.

Mileage has been reduced in most premiun seats as well.

I think most airlines reduce the miles earned for the cheapest classes. TG first followed SAS and reduced the 2 cheapest classes in economy (U,W?) to 0 last year, but changed to 50% after a few months.

BA used to offer 0 miles for anything less than a Y class ticket (or was it the next one down from that)? It was changed later. The tickets my company supplied for a vacation airfare used to get 10% of mileage.....waste of time. Important factor when considering using the same airline exclusively.

If BR are going to move the goalposts, then I might do the same :banana or in my case move airlines :sorry

Absolutely.

That just cements my move to Emirates where I still receive 19,000 plus miles per round trip with a gold card UK-BKK in economy.
