Cable TV in Pattaya Hotels

Can someone tell me if the hotels all have the same cable company. I would like to watch American Football when I am in Pattaya

they vary...best you can hope for is an occasional game on ESPN or highlights

I have Sophon cable in my condo, which I suspect is what most hotels will have.

 

I think if you want to watch American Football whilst over here your best bet would be to find a bar that's willing to show it.

The vast majority of hotels have Sophon cable tv,very basic programmes ie news and pirated films.Western sports and films etc are mainly shown on UBC which is a satellite company.

 

So if a hotel states cable its nothing special.

I am a huge football fan (grid iron) UBC will show games around 1-2 am monday morning . usually you can get about 4 games in. there are a few hotels that offer UBC

This place say’s it has 18 sports channels, don’t know what ones though!

I have found the better hotels have UBC. The Montien on second road has it but if you stayed there they would charge you everytime you bring a new girl back.
