Bringing back stuff!!

Hi there,

 

I was thinking if I bought too much stuff I could whilst in Thailand I could parcel it back (say up to 20kg) whats the cheapest way to sent it back to the UK??

I was in the same situation that your in and I used DHL Express4You. Prices to the UK are

 

5kg Box - Bht 2950

10kg Box - Bht 4150

25kg Box - Bht 5400

 

Rate per additional Kilo for 10kg & 25KG box Bht 170

Prices exclude 7%Vat

 

They provide the boxes free of charge and you can track your parcels on the internet.

 

They are pretty happy to help you out with box sizes. e.g. my stuff weighed 16kg and wouldnt fit in the 10KG box so they put it in the 25kg box and charged the 10kg rate plus additional per kg rate. Helpful and friendly staff.

 

They are located at Tipp Plaza on Second Road just down from Mikes, Shopping Mall heading towards centre Rd.

 

Maybe not the cheapest but fast effient and secure. Had my stuff in Oz in 3 days.

The cheepest would be overland, i.e. by container ship. So that would be via the General postoffice type mail service. You could then look at whtever is their equivilent to "SpeedPost" etc and make your mind up. I think the most expensive would be a courrier service like DHL, Fed-Ex etc.
