Have seen photos etc regarding View Talay VILLAS,looks excellent with each individual villa being self contained and sporting it's own pool.Price quoted was US$125 a night.

Don't pay over 20-25k baht per month for a house. A little tip for you........Look on the opposite side of Sukhumvit. You will notice a HUGE price and availability difference from the beach side.

Superbowl is Feb 4th. I think its going to be difficult to find a nice big house for only a 1 month stay that will be vacant on the day that you arrive. You will have better luck to contact a real estate agent.

Thanks Emil, I know it's american football but there stops my knowledge - have never seen any.

 

I agree that it can be difficult to find a big house for rent for just one month. Maybe can rent from 1 february but still hardly under 6 months rather 12 months with a 3 months deposit. I know some thais having empty houses in East Pattaya but they don't want to rent for ST, but of course if somebody wants to pay 12 months rent (360,000-480,000) for one month's stay...

 

IMO it's better to either rent it from a farang owner - maybe a BM - or a bungalow belonging to a hotel.
