The Land Rover club I'm in had their Christmas party and Awards were given out for outstanding acheivements. Guess what I won.

Quote:

There seemed to be more children than ever at this year's ALRFC xmas party.

Certainly there were a few noteable adult absentees but with some new members and

the copious quantity of kids, it seemed as big as ever.

The usual display of food mountain and megga raffle draw was much in evidence.

Jeremy began the evening by presenting a cheque from ALRFC for £508 to the British Heart Foundation.

This was followed by the Muddyduck Awards for 2006 which raised a lorra lorra laffs!

Prizes were awarded for:

Most Dedicated Family –The Evans

Having attended many of the ALRFC events of 2006

Offroad Achievment –Charles Taylor

Getting his 110 up hills where all others failed!

Muddiest Ducklings – Holly & Matthew Evans

Pic of them at Brickhill (on website)

Pond Life – Ash Byrne

Sinking his Landy in first hour at Sibbertoft!

Pond Life 2– Phil Goodenough

Driving with undue care and attention into pond in Mates car!

Dam Fool Award –Ian Price

Deliberately spelt DAM (without the ‘N’) because he failed to see the DAM where he should have turned left and instead,

went straight on towards Cardiff!

Loudest Snorer – Colin Coleman

Orchestral manouvers in the dark that would drown a quartet of revving V8’s! Sibbertoft, Billing, Billing

Anywhere he lays down!

Best Snoozer –Bob Lowrey

We’ve all seen the classic shot of Bob taking 40 winks whilst sitting in his chair in front of his classic 110 at Concours day.

Obviously overtired from all that polishing!

The Best PANTS Award – Jamie Pearce

One day he'll find some trousers that’ll stay up!

Dipstick Of The Year – Tim Price

Losing his Range Rover on a Binge Drinking night.

After a nights drinking session he got a lift home leaving his car behind.

On his return to Handy Cross Car Park

To collect the Car he found it had GONE!

It was reported Stolen to the Wycombe Police.

A couple of days later Tim was in the Town Centre and spotted it parked on the street (outside the Police Station). WHERE HE HAD LEFT IT!

Most improved driver – Becky Price

She finally achieved her life long dream of being able to DRIVE ALL THE WAY HOME unaided after an event!
