Sri racha hospital any good?

Recommended Posts

Hi,iam just after a bit of advice my gf is having a baby(and yes it is mine i hope <grin )

I realise not many of you have given birth but has anyone had experiance with this hospital?

I told the missus to go to bangkok pattaya but her and her friends are telling me sri rachs is a good hospital

they reckon no more than 15000 including check ups.but bangok pattaya would be minimum 0f 40,0000.

I have been known to be a cheap charlie <grin but with something like this money is no object but if what iam being told sri racha is a good hospital then this will be fine.

At first she said she would go home and have the baby there but iam having visions of a mud hut of a hospital.

The only other thing bothering me about sri racha is how long does it take to get there?

Anyway any help and advice would be great

BP Hospital is very expensive.

TGF and I go to Chulalongkorn Hospital (adjacent to Lumpini Park) in BKK.

I'm sure Sri Racha or Rayong are quite modern also, and absolutely less expensive than BPH (You should be able 2 do the DNA check without Thai girl knowing about it).

edit:

Sri Racha is just north of Laem Chaebang, which is just north of Naklua, which is just north of Pattaya.

It'll take over an hour on route 3 during rush hour. 25 minutes otherwise. You can take the Motorway to the point in the construction where you are required to bear left on a overpass to make a u-turn. Don't bear left. Go straight for 3 minutes and take the Sri Racha exit (rt 3 north). Hospital only 5 minutes from there.

Siracha,is as good as any,i would have taken jan there as she is 3 months as well.but like satahip.

the ones in pattaya i dont trust,

and for the last 12 months we have been going to satahip 40ks away and easy to get to.

after rego, you see the doctor, blood tests for both ,etc, you pay 4500bt at the 2nd vist which gets you your own doc [no Qs]all up 10000 to 12000,its the bigest hospital around and very busy .open from 8.30am till 4pm mon to thurs, fri till 12pm.'always go early;they stop for lunch..plenty of cafes ,and the biggest parmacy anywhere,

the bloke next to me just had a new baby at 65,[ X german consular] he's girl went home to have it ,all went well.thai girls lack IRON which is important to the baby .the blood test will show either way,get them on the good food, the doc will tell u what food,or supplement.

if she likes siracha, let her go,i've been there to see friends and its nice and good doctors.

up to you ...and GOODLUCK we will need it.

My friend, David, assures me it's quite good. Also, I took Bupa health insurance out from its office at Sukamvit and North Pattaya Rds. The office manager is from Sri Racha. Her policy has lower limits than mine so Pattaya Bangkok which is quite close is out of her range. I asked her where she's going if she ever needs to use her Bupa policy and she told me, Sri Racha. Well, she should know since she's heading the local BUPA office.

When I come back this summer I plan to take my lady friend to have her eye operated on. I took her to

Pattaya Bkk Hospital, and they said it would be lazer surgery, at 14,000 baht. I have heard that BPH is

not the best hospital. Would Sir Racha be good for this surgery also ?

Thanks , whittler

I had a friend who use to receive his skin cancer treatment at the "Queens Hospital" (Queen Savang Vadhana Memorial Hospital ) in Sriracha . Very cheap and from what I saw a hell of a lot better than BPH. It might not be a fancy but they treat you much better.

Yes it's good but Bangkok Pattaya Hospital and Pattaya International Hospital are better but also more expensive. I think the Sri Racha hospital is good if you've a limited wallet or no insurance covering it. I always use Pattaya International but TGF prefers Bangkok Pattaya Hospital - we both have insurances.

I use Pattaya International for all routine stuff. I know their gyno (Dr. Ben) is very good. However, they do not have a large team for the whole pregnancy thing. Bangkok Pattaya is the most expensive but do have a large staff.

You also have Banglamung. My mate had his kid there and was pleased with it.
